Non-Entry Level Confined Space Rescue Training
Course Info
This course will provide the learner with the required knowledge to perform a non-entry level confined space rescue. This course will cover simple confined space entries where the attendant can safely remove the entrant with out needing to enter the space. Each participant will be required to pass a written test with a minimum 75%, be familiar with all equipment, rigging and related equipment and demonstrating their ability to perform in every duty position in a hands-on mock entry.
Prerequisite:
1) A valid CPO Approved Working at Heights Certificate (If Applicable)
2) A valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Certificate

- Inspection of all related equipment
- Identify proper anchor points
- Proper use of tripod and/or davit system
- Supplied Air – Cascade/SCBA
- Rescue techniques using the applicable retrieval winch
- Trauma Mitigation
- Refresher of fall related legislation Federal and Provincial
